Bills often arrive when we can least afford them, or when expenses are high. We have developed a number of options designed to help you organise your gas and electricity payments and avoid any surprises when your bills arrive.
This alternative allows you to pay for your annual energy use in equal instalments throughout the year.
To calculate how paying in instalments can influence your budget, simply enter the amount of your highest account over the past twelve months, identify whether it’s for electricity or gas and calculate.
With TRUenergy Budget Easyway you have the option of paying by Direct Debit or over the counter. If you choose to pay in person, you will be issued with a Budget Easyway Card that allows you to make your regular payments at any Australia Post Office/Agency. You can also make these payments using BPAY, Post Billpay, or Credit Card.
A TRUenergy Flexi Plan allows you total flexibility on your account. We issue you with a TRUenergy Flexi Card, which you can use to make payments in person at Australia Post Offices or Agencies. Any credit paid against your account comes off the total of your next bill. If there is an amount left owing when the bill is issued, you pay the difference. If there is still a credit balance, that will come off the following account.
The minimum payment amount is $10, however you can pay as much as you like, as often as you like. You simply make up any debit left owing when you get your bill.
