Both Tallawarra Lands and the Tallawarra power station site are located on private property.
Access is by prior arrangement with TRUenergy. Persons seeking access to the site should call Lloyd Townsend on 02 4231 8407 to make access arrangements and to complete a site induction.
Safety and security is a high priority for TRUenergy and as such, access to the site will be carefully controlled by a security team.

With the sale of the Tallawarra site, a substantial section of the lake foreshore was set aside for public use. This land extends from the northern boundary of the site to the tip of the outlet channel of the northern training wall adjacent to the old power station site, and includes Rocky Point, Tallawarra Point and Elizabeth Point. This lake foreshore land is now owned and managed by the Lake Illawarra Authority.
Visitors can access the foreshore and surrounding recreational areas using Yallah Bay Road or Gilba Road at Elizabeth Point. Picnic tables and a playground have been provided near the public car park at the end of Yallah Bay Road for public use. TRUenergy looks forward to working with the Lake Illawarra Authority as it continues to develop this important local facility for further recreational use.
